The Brunelleschi Dome:

A masterpiece that withstands lightning, earthquakes and bad weather. This monument surprises all those who see it from near or far. The diameter of the dome is 45.5 meters. It consists of two interconnected ogival carapaces, the octagonal dome of the cathedral was erected between 1418 and 1434 based on a design by Filippo Brunelleschi.

The Baptistery:

The Baptistery of San Giovanni, one of the oldest churches in Florence. This fascinating structure, which combines faith, history and art,  researchers till have doubt its dating.
In the Middle Ages, the inhabitants of Florence thought that the Baptistery was an old building dating back to Roman times.

In fact; Much of the marble cover of the Baptistery comes from the ruins of the Roman Florentia, most likely a pagan temple. You can see many fragments, ancient inscriptions, trapping columns or horizontal lintels on the interior doors.

The Bell Tower of Giotto:

The bell tower of Giotto is one of the four main monuments of the Piazza del Duomo. The most eloquent example of the Gothic architecture of the fourteenth century in Florence. The majestic square bell tower, considered the most beautiful bell tower in Italy and probably more decorative than functional, was begun by Giotto in 1334.

The Duomo Terrace:

After climbing 150 steps, to the panoramic visit on the external terraces of the Cathedral, over thirty meters high, where, immersed in the splendid setting of Florence, you can admire them from a point of exclusive view all the monuments of the city and above all stop to enjoy the close presence of Brunelleschi's Dome.
